Horrible customer service

Worst customer service I have ever received. When someone comes to you with a problem usually customer service tries to help you. She was super rude with me made no attempt to help. Will be going to a new bank.

On behalf of US Bank I’d like to apologize for the way our teller treated you, on her computer screen it should have promoted her to suggest you try Wells Fargo as we were closing you’re accounts as we no longer wish to do business with you, we apologize for any inconvenience and please have a pleasant day

Unfaithful bank

Had all my banking with US bank for over 15+ yrs. Last week,they cut my credit limit on my card by more than half. I had just deposited 4,300$ to bring it almost topped off .. now .. that money/credit is gone! Really would have been nice to have been warned .. or even told after the fact .. that my credit card was now worthless. Especially on vacation assuming I had some credit in case of emergency. Any bank that does this,cannot really care much about their customers. I am going to close all my and my wife’s accounts and find a credit union

Horrible bank the checking account was the worst i ever seen i tried to deposit a check... nope 200$ daily limit my check was just for $208!!! Like a fool i applied for their credit card cause of the 150$ bonus and got a useless $500 limit card when i apped for a cli 3 months later got denied and had my TU pulled 2 times just 1 day in between WHY??? MAKES NO SENSE!!! Im just going to close it too what am i suppose to do with a $500 card? I got multiple cards with 10k+ limits on my report why not atleast give me 2000 or something reasonable? I got more money in my wallet for just daily cash expenses... with 100K income they think $500 is reasonable.... Nope looks like this bank is on par with Credit One.... to be avoided!!!

Service coordinator refused to do a VERY IMPORTANT wire transfer. There was NO reason for this. The VP stood behind her because he knew she would get disciplined for her personal decision. It is not their decision as to if I can send MY MONEY! Both VP and SC should lose their jobs because of the negative impact their decision made against my company and reputation. I request a safeguard for overdraft. The US bank staff did

I am a phsyically/visually challenged disabled senior citizen. I requested overdraft protention _because at the time I open the accounts ..I was a victim of idenity theft...I shared my concerns with the manager. Sinister expiring of your cashback rewards with US BANK credit cards

Unless you are very diligent about your use of your accumulated cash rewards DO NOT use ANY of the US Bank credit cards to gain cash! They will expire your rewards a little by little after a certain predetermined time (check with them what that time is) ! They will note on your statement's second page that you will loose x amount on the date that is right after your current bill due date. And if you miss that info you will loose money. And it will happen over and over again! So to keep your rewards from expiring, you will leave a constant hassle of checking your cash back expiration every single statement! They will NOT care to give you your cash rewards back! They do not CARE to keep you as a customer (even if you spent thousands in the recent months with them!) I believe (from my experience) the US BANK a.k.a. US BANKCORP is the ONLY major credit card issuer to expire your rewards! So instead use other cards like chase, discover, barclay, wells fargo, bank of america, citi - you guessed - any other (as far as I know) credit card rewards program since none of the above companies expire your earned cash rewards.

NEGATIVE STARS.....HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - TURNED MY ESCALADE IN LAST NOVEMBER 2017 (TODAY IS MAY 2018) AND THEY LOST THE TRUCK, CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME MONTHLY PAYMENTS, CLAIMED THEY REPOSSESSED THE CAR, MADE A CLAIM ON OUR CREDIT......BEEN DEALING WITH MORE THAN 7 DEPARTMENTS AND OVER 10 REPRESENTATIVES AND NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT OR FINALIZE THE ACCOUNT. RUN, RUN, RUN....Customer service is completely lacking - last two phone conversations each lasted over 1 hour and I was rerouted to department after department until I dealt with 4 and they started me all over again.....WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE ONE REP HANDLE THE NIGHTMARE THEY ARE PUTTING ME THROUGH.....SOS

They literally are too stupid to approve any loans even when you have the money in the bank. I honestly think they are racist.

They hire complete retards in their branches. They will deny everything you have with them. I am going to close my account with them really soon. I am sick of them.

F US Bank! They have no intentions on ever helping you achieve anything at all. I seriously hate them. I am tired of them for real.

I would tell them to f off if I knew them. They totally suck. They are dumb and stupid. They never approve anything and they have the highest interest rates on all their cards.

They are complete *** I hate US Bank. Somebody needs to close them down.

They stopped ACH transfers into my checking account at Wells Fargo

US Bank used to make automatic ACH fund transfers from my US Bank/Athena Health account into my checking account at Wells Fargo. Since May 24, 2018 there have been no transfers into my Wells Fargo Account from US Bank and when I called US Bank to inqiuire they said their computer is down. You can be sure that US Bank will not pay me interest on the several thousand dollars they are holding in my account!!! David M. My Mother Betty L. Couch Passed away 10-18-2017, after paying out of her account I left $10.00 in the acct. Today 6-6-2018 your Bank branch called and asked me to call Allison said please call back? I called 1-78*-246-**** I tried to call 10 times kept getting " sorry' please try your call again? So I drove 17 miles to the Branch to find out what was wrong, as the message was vague? I told them I needed to speak to Allison as I thought she was a Branch Mgr? It was one of the tellers. I told her that I had tried to call 10 times, and she asked if I had mis-dialed? I said NO!! Then the asst mgr got on his phone and tried to call? guess what? got the same recording "SORRY"? She said the nature of her call was to find out if US Bank was doing ok for us as we had not used the Acct for a while, 8 months to be exact. I told them that I never liked US Bank, and I wanted to close out the Acct! They looked like a Deer in the headlights??? I tried to call the branch using the 1-800 # spent 15 min listening to push this push that, never ever got ahold of real person. I took my children to U.S, Bank and wanted to open an account. I was the second person in line to be waited on.

I was told by a teller to take a seat someone would be right with me. I sat for about 15 minutes then the teller came and said that I needed to wait until their line thinned out before they could help me or I could come back tomorrow. I am still upset because I felt like i was not treated as someone they would like to keep. I am honestly thinking about taking my money out of that bank.

It took me 2 years to open an account for myself because of the people that are hired at the branch. The branch I am talking about is at Zagaras Market Place, Cleveland Heights, OH. The guy that told me to come back didnt seem to care.

I told him I had sat and waited for them to wait on 15 people, why do I have to wait longer. So as of today, my kids do not have accounts with U.S.

Preferred solution: Hire better quality people at that branch. Make all customers feel important. It was not reasonable for him to tell me to come back another day. Do he understand how many other banks would take my money and everyone elses too.

I got 3 overdraft fees even though I deposited enough money to get out of the negative. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received not only from the customer service representative but their manager as well. This bank needs to get their *** together or they will continue to lose customers. I called, and was told very rudely that there is nothing that they can do about it,; because the money didn't hit my account until this morning. But i deposited it the night before, and it took them until this morning to clear the money in my account. I shouldn't be penalized for the asinine behavior from the bankers at this ridiculous organization that is U.S Bank

Multiple attempts made to setup auto pay on my loan after US Bank set me up for paperless billing without me asking them too. So for 3 months they didn’t send me a statement and then they call up saying we’re past due yet I still have not received a statement that I asked them to send. After sending paperwork in for autopay twice they still claim they haven’t received it and they want to try to assess interest charges. I’ve made every effort to get this paid and setup but they seem to be more interested in making it difficult so they could charge people interest that are trying to pay on time than actually helping them. Even when I told this to the customer service person to try to fix it she says “Well obviously your mistaken because we haven’t received anything”, I guess they are always right and couldn’t have possibly made any sort of mistake.

US Bank Trashed my credit: I leased a jeep from a local auto dealer who set me up with a loan from US Bank. The first month's payment was included in the lease. I set up auto payment with my bank, Capital One, to electronically transfer the monthly payment to US Bank. Apparently, the initial set-up didn't go through properly so US Bank wasn't paid on-time. Then Capital One froze my account due to possible fraudulent activity and US Bank wasn't paid due to freezing the account. I wasn't aware of this as the Capital One account is an on-line account that I rarely check. When I found out about it, I immediately contacted US Bank and profusely apologized. I made two payments over the phone to catch up. The customer service rep understood and when I asked him if this would affect my credit he said that most likely it won't but if it does then US Bank will retract it. Well, the story goes that it did affect my credit. I've never had any strikes or bad marks on my credit report in the 57 years I been alive. It was a mistake, my bank wrote a letter to US Bank explaining the situation. I've had to deal with several incompetent people at the bank, nobody will help me. I've written several letters, made several phone calls and nobody is hearing me. I've asked to speak to a bank President and nobody will give me a phone number or any information. The bottom line is that I want somebody at a higher level to review this mistake and correct it. I was told it would be retracted if it did go to the credit bureaus. US Bank needs to honor that! I am not a "repeat offender" of NOT PAYING my bills on time, I am extremely anal about it as I don't want my credit affected by it! If a bank president to some time to review my credit report/history they would see that this is a mistake and fix it. Unbelievable, rude and incompetent bank! I have letters and other documentation that I can also provide you with. In closing, US Bank has quite a few complaints against them on the BBB website. It's not just me, they have issues! I know my local bank would have fixed this ASAP! There is a recording of my conversation with US Bank, regarding the retraction of this strike on my credit report, they did not honor this. I want the recording and a bank president to contact me. I have asked for this several times, I have also worked with the BBB requesting this information and nobody at the bank will give it to me. The proof is in the phone conversion and I am entitled to hear it!

Preferred solution: Retract the negative remarks on my credit report as agreed upon. If US Bank will not do that I want a copy of the voice recording, a phone call from a bank president, an apology letter!
