Tried to close my account

I moved to Florida, and discovered that No US Banks can be in business here. Closest branch is 500 miles away, so I tried to close my accounts, got nothing but a run a round, they lied, said they would send me a check and never did. Called four times, each time they say I need to sign a different paper. Emails my signature and still waiting. They will never see me again unless they do not send the check, they they will pay the price!

I banked with US Bank for over 10 years. Every move they had all my info.

I also continually ensured all forwarding thru USPS was actives for a year after each move. The last thing i wanted was to miss a piece of mail. Somehow they are claiming i left letting $1500! I closed my account in the Camas branch in person in April.

I went to open a local bank and was told if this "Charge Off".3 weeks ago I reapplied to US Bank since they are one of the local banks where I'm moving to. They said nothing about this. Matter of fact I'm still waiting on the letter explaining why i couldn't reopen an account with them again. One of those 10 day till it arrives letters.

Still has yet to arrive. I've been diligently working on my credit for the last two years yet nothing shows up there either. Just to bed clear i closed my account in the end of April 2020. Truly insane and completely fraudulent.

If you don't need anything from US Bank then stay away. There is nothing they offer worth the headache you receive. Now I'm stuck with a surprise $1500 debt.

Heed my warning. There's so much more that happened then i have room to write

My mother passed away Year ago i.finally went to her bank to enquire about her ira account that she made me beneficiary for ...I was told to bring copy of death certificate my ID and something saying I was an heir .I returned and teller took paperwork and started. Typing on keyboard ...20 secs go by and she becomes glued to the monitor and her whole attitude changes Kathy was her name ...she says.

I'm not going to be able to take this ..

pointing at my documents....then she makes a copy of death certificate and starts dialing the phone a while staring at monitor.. someone answered and she reads him a 4 or 5 digit code off the monitor and starts shaking her dead and saying ok I thought so ok I get it ..then comes back to me and says she will give me no info perood and to leave the lobby of bank or she wouymake sure I regretted it and called police...I asked to speak with a supervisor she said no get out or you will never get the money from your mother's ira ...I'll make sure iof that she said ..there is about 60 to 80 k in that account and it's been a year

Reliacard customer service sucks

I got a reliacard in the mail even though I never filed for unemployment. I read how it's been a common complaint of being a victim of identity theft for unemployment. I need to find out what state authorized this card as someone filed with my information. I waited on hold over 2 1/2 hours only to be disconnected. I tried again and got an auto response saying they couldn't hear me. It's impossible to reach a live person. This is the worst customer service experience ever in my life by a longshot, worse is I still haven't gotten thru.

Representative told me i was so far ahead on payments that i could pay principal payments only for 10 months then interest would resume on the lower balance of loan. Today got statement nearly $500 in interest due for past 10 months. Each monthly statements said $0 interest owed but rep today says other rep was wrong! Can't trust what comes out of their months! wrong. Each

I get unemployment put on your reliacard and they have locked my card and if they don't unlock My card my child and I can't pay our rent And will be homeless which is BS because the money is there I'm just not allowed to use it.if my daughter and I get kicked out onto the street in I am going to go find a lawyer and am going to sue for everything that stems from me getting kicked out to the street

Card locked for 24hrs,no help and lies

Everything was fine, woke up paid rent, cell and internet Then went to order something and got denied with plenty of money in my account. Go to ATM and denied again, called these *** and after 37 minutes they answered Said I have to wait to get MY money until 24hrs passes, so I tell them *** no this is MY money not US Banks, and they said well if you go to a branch you can have the teller get a withdrawal. I drove 19 miles and wait in line for 20 min while 1teller does the counter and drive thru and some lazy *** punk sits at his desk and does nothing finally get to the teller had to put my information in their branch system and still get denied! Call this morning after giving up yesterday and system says all reps are busy and call back later, then hangs up!!! Who can sue the *** out of them for me for hardship, theft and stress that I do not deserve? Because this *** has to be illegal somehow!!! Go out of your way to not bank with these idiots and criminals! Bad thing is that nobody does *** to them, so they just keep doing it.... This has to stop!! .

Just adding on what just happened with my account on 06/24/2021. As my account is still in the process of closure, US Bank advised me that I will not be able to withdrawal any money nor will I be able to deposit any money.... but guess what? My lender MADE AN ACH payment into my account for $16,285 and guess what happened? US Bank accepted the payment! After telling me NO TRANSACTION WILL GO THRU! US BANK ARE THIEFS!!

As of July 8th 2021, US Bank has officially closed my checking account but I have not received my cashier check from them. Today date is July 27th 2021, I have contacted US Bank numerous times regarding as to when was the cashier check mailed out.

NO ONE from the bank can give me an answer!

US BANK NEEDS SOME PROFESSIONAL HELP! I really don’t know how US Bank is still in business or how can anyone still bank with this bank.

I opened a checking account around beginning of May, I deposited my stimulus check which was 2800 and had my loan direct deposited in the amount of $16,285. After my loan was deposited US Bank froze my account and advised for me to step into the branch with my ID to verify myself. On May 12th I went to my home branch and had myself verified by the branch manager. She also advised me that my account was in the process of closure and that my account will be closed within 15 days and they will mail me a cashier check with the remaining funds in my account. Now up to date, my account is still in the process of closing, now all of a sudden the e-fraud department has advised me that they will be sending back the $16,285 back to the lender. And they will not give me a reason as to why they are sending it back to my lender. Yet on top of that US Bank cannot give me an exact date as to when my account will be officially closed.

Card Declined is what I get, even though the money is in the bank. Try to reach them by phone and you almost 5 minutes of recordings and prompts before they tell you to call back and hang up on you. If people weren't FORCED to use them to be on unemployment they would no doubt be out of business. I cannot imagine anyone willingly subjecting themselves to this kind of horrific service.

U.S bank has blocked my account ! Sent them ID verification and is still locked I need the money ! My bills need to get paid ! Theres a pandemic for crying out loud ! Took forever too speak to someone after 4 calls someone answered saying my account was still not verified ! Ok how long ago did you submit your documents to verify your identity? There is a process to complete the verification...

And it doesn't happen overnight or because you demand it. If you're in a hurry go back to using money orders
