The US Bank insurance claim process through property claim check is a total fraud!
Our home flooded in August 2018. It took us a long time to find a contractor but now that we have the biggest nightmare is dealing with them!!
I refuse to pay anything out of pocket for the fear of them never reimbursing anything!! Iโve filed a complaint on their website and also the BBB.
Their insurance claim process is horrible!!! They recently updated their system โin an effort to improve the insurance claim processโ according to a letter sent out in June 2019.
There is NO communication whatsoever!!! No calls, no emails, nothing!!
If something is needed, missing or unreadable, there is no way to know. It will shows up as โinvalidโ in their system. When paperwork is uploaded it wonโt show up in their system for a week to a week and half later and then it takes them 5-7 business days to โprocessโ the paperwork, even though it is a direct uploaded to their โnew system.โ
This processing time, along with a huge lack of communication, only adds to an already stressful situation!
This is unacceptable and needs to be changed. You would expect much more from a major company.
Reason of review: Insurance claim process.
Monetary Loss: $75.
Preferred solution: Process the paperwork in a timely manner! Make drastic changes to communication!!.
