My mother passed away Year ago i.finally went to her bank to enquire about her ira account that she made me beneficiary for ...I was told to bring copy of death certificate my ID and something saying I was an heir .I returned and teller took paperwork and started. Typing on keyboard ...20 secs go by and she becomes glued to the monitor and her whole attitude changes Kathy was her name ...she says.
I'm not going to be able to take this ..
pointing at my documents....then she makes a copy of death certificate and starts dialing the phone a while staring at monitor.. someone answered and she reads him a 4 or 5 digit code off the monitor and starts shaking her dead and saying ok I thought so ok I get it ..then comes back to me and says she will give me no info perood and to leave the lobby of bank or she wouymake sure I regretted it and called police...I asked to speak with a supervisor she said no get out or you will never get the money from your mother's ira ...I'll make sure iof that she said ..there is about 60 to 80 k in that account and it's been a year
